i can finally share the news that my verse for Kesha's open verse competition on SMASH became a runner up!
i literally didn't expect anything at all to come from it (especially because it was put together in about 30mins at the 11th hour) so to say i'm blown away is an understatement and i feel honored that kesha and the smash music team gave it a seat at the table
and if you take anything away from this post i hope it's: follow your instincts, do what sounds like fun, and put it out into world...you never what will come from it 🐾
anyway...i know that's a lot of emotion for safe, and i know i didn't win, but truly it was honor just to be nominated ✌🏽😜
